There is nothing like the heartache of losing a beloved pet.
Because art can be healing... A great way to preserve their memory is to have a custom pet portrait done.
If you have your pet's ashes, Shay can mix the ashes in with the charcoal.
Shay will take great care in handling of your pet's ashes and only a smaller amount will be needed. You can either ship the ashes directly to Shay or Shay can meet you if you are local to the Glens Falls, NY area.

All charcoal portraits come on special acid-free paper which is sprayed with a fixative to protect the artwork. Once matted, the portrait will be placed in a protective sleeve and packaged safely for shipping or local pickup.

YOUR PHOTO:
Find a clear, high resolution photograph of your pet. The better quality photo, the better quality portrait is produced. It should NOT be a full body photograph. The eyes of the subject should be very clear. Please include some information about your loved one, so Shay can spiritually connect to the subject while drawing the portrait. The importance of knowing a subject helps Shay put spirit and love into each portrait.
PRESENTED:
All charcoal portraits come on special acid-free bristol paper which is sprayed with a fixative to protect the artwork. Once matted, the portrait will be placed in a protective sleeve and packaged safely for delivery or shipping.
PAYMENT:
Full payment is due upon ordering. By ordering, you acknowledge and agree that the payment will be non-refundable other than if the art arrives damaged. To order click here!
TIME:
Portraits can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks (depending on holidays) to complete. Almost 100 hours can go into a single portrait depending on the details and size. A photo of the work will be supplied through your email before shipment/delivery to ensure satisfaction. If you live locally and want to pick up the artwork, please request so.
SHIPPING:
Portraits are carefully packaged and shipped to prevent damage. If any damages do occur in transit, please contact me within 7 days of arrival with images of the damage.
COPYRIGHT:
Shay retains full copyright for all the artwork produced. All images and content are protected under United States and International copyright laws. The client may not distribute, reproduce, or otherwise profit from the artwork. Shay reserves the right to use, distribute or reproduce the artwork without permission of the customer.
SATISFACTION:
A photo is always supplied in email before shipment...If you are not completely satisfied for any reason with your artwork, please contact me so it can be resolved. Corrections can always be made and will not ship until you're 100% happy with it.
