Each piece is thoughtfully painted by Shay using high-quality acrylic paints on canvas, bringing your pet to life through careful detail and expressive realism. Every portrait is sealed with a protective finish to preserve the artwork for years to come. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for completion, as each piece is created with intention and care.

Photo Guidelines:
Your photos are the foundation of your portrait. For the best results, please submit clear, high-resolution images that are well-lit and in focus. The eyes should be visible and sharp, as they are key to capturing your pet’s expression and personality. You’re also encouraged to share a little about your pet...their quirks, energy, and story. This connection helps bring depth and authenticity to your piece.

Each ArtByShay piece is created or produced with intention and made especially for you. For this reason, all sales are considered final, and we do not offer returns or exchanges.
Custom commissions, including pet portraits, are non-refundable once the order has been placed, as each piece is created uniquely for you.
We kindly ask that you review your order carefully before purchasing.
Damaged or Defective Items:
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, we will make it right with care and priority.

- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the artwork
- Photographs of the original packaging
Once reviewed, a complimentary replacement will be arranged.
Fine Art Prints:
All fine art prints are hand-produced by ArtByShay in small batches.
This intentional process may result in subtle variations, enhancing the individuality and authenticity of each piece. Please allow for thoughtful production time, as each print is handled with care and precision.
Made-to-Order Merchandise:
Select merchandise (including apparel and accessories) is created through a trusted print-on-demand production partner.
