ARTWORK & COPYRIGHT

• The purchase of any artwork, print, or commissioned piece does not transfer copyright ownership.

• Artwork may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, altered, or used for commercial purposes without written permission from the artist.

• ArtByShay retains all reproduction and intellectual property rights unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

PRINTS

• Prints are offered as open or limited editions, as noted in the product description.

• All sizes are listed in inches.

• Colors may vary slightly due to differences in monitor settings and printing processes.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Because prints are made to order, all print sales are final unless the item arrives damaged.

• If your print arrives damaged, please contact ArtByShay within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the damage and packaging.

• Print on demand items: Select products are professionally produced and fulfilled by a trusted print-on-demand partner. Because each item is custom made to order, all print-on-demand sales are final. Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted for buyer's remorse, incorrect size selection, or change of mind. Please refer to the size charts provided before placing your order, as items cannot be exchanged for incorrect size selection.

*If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact ArtByShay within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the item and its packaging. Eligible claims will be reviewed, and a replacement or refund will be provided when appropriate.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK

• Original artworks are one-of-a-kind pieces.

• All original artwork sales are final.

• Natural textures, minor imperfections, or variations are part of the artwork’s character and are not considered defects.

COMMISSIONS​

Commissioned artwork is a custom, collaborative process and requires clear communication.

• Full payment is required upfront before any commission work begins.

• Commission timelines are estimates and may vary depending on complexity, reference material, and current workload.

• Reasonable revisions may be offered at the artist’s discretion during the process.

• Once a commission is completed and approved, no further changes can be made.

• Due to the custom and personalized nature of commissioned artwork, all commission sales are final and non-refundable.

 

PRINT-ON-DEMAND PRODUCTS

Select products offered through ArtByShay are professionally produced and fulfilled by a trusted print-on-demand partner. These items are custom made after your order is placed and may ship separately from original artwork or studio-made prints. Because each item is made to order, all print-on-demand sales are final unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. If there is an issue with your order, please contact ArtByShay within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging so a replacement or resolution can be arranged.

SHIPPING

Artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.

• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or discussed prior to commission completion.

• ArtByShay is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

• If artwork arrives damaged, please contact ArtByShay within 48 hours of delivery with photographs so a claim can be filed if necessary.

• Print on demand: Orders may arrive in separate shipments. Original artwork and studio-made fine art prints are packaged and shipped by ArtByShay, while select merchandise is fulfilled and shipped by a trusted print-on-demand production partner.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
